Samsung calls XBox 360 “The Best Next-Generation Game Console”

In a very cool announcement, Samsung has partnered with Microsoft to promote the “HD era” of console gaming, and has even called the XBox 360 “The best next-generation game console”. This is surely excellent
news for Microsoft, whose new system is expected to launch later this year in a bid to take over the #1 spot currently held by Sony’s Playstation 2 game console.

The latest tidbit to trickle out as the hypefest builds to the new launch is certainly exciting news (Samsung makes some gorgeous DLP displays that are greatly superior to Plasma and LCD displays for gamers and computer users. Unlike those other technologies, DLP TV’s aren’t even capable of getting screen burn-in).

Looks like we’re in for an exciting year, and I for one better start pinching some serious pennies so I can afford an HDTV to go along with my XBox 360!
